Reiki can be traced back through
many centuries to the monasteries of
Tibet
but, in the more recent past, its practise became lost to the
secular world. At the
end of the nineteenth century, a Dr Mikao Usui spent more than twenty years
discovering whether
Reiki was still practised or whether it was lost to
mankind. Fortunately for us,
he rediscovered the key and now those of us
who follow the Traditional Usui Reiki path are following in his
footsteps.
